Professional Licensing Consulting

Supporting programs and professionals navigating the evolving landscape of licensure and clinical training.

We offer consulting for individuals and institutions navigating the complex terrain of licensure, compliance, and curriculum design. Whether you’re a pre-licensed clinician seeking clarity or a program director managing regulatory demands, we provide guidance that supports both alignment and accountability.

With backgrounds in higher education leadership, clinical training, and regulatory policy, we understand how to translate evolving standards without losing sight of your values, depth, or vision. Our work is collaborative, grounded, and responsive to the unique pressures that shape clinical education today.

Areas of Expertise

  • Navigating state-specific licensure (+ national trends)

  • Mapping curriculum to state board and national standards (LPCC, LMFT, APA, etc.)

  • Pre-licensure education for graduate students and supervisees

  • Consulting on program design for new or evolving academic offerings

  • Creating compliance systems that serve both integrity and embodiment

  • Supporting organizations through transitions, restructures, or audits

Whether you’re building a licensable program or supporting your team through the postgrad journey, we can help you align with both state standards and deeper values.

Why Work With Us

Our team brings a rare combination of lived leadership and systems-level perspective. With direct experience as program directors and clinical training administrators, we understand the pressures that shape graduate education from the inside. We stay attuned to national licensure trends and regulatory shifts, and we approach every consultation with a commitment to equity, transparency, and embodied, values-based education.

We view professional licensure not just as a procedural requirement, but as a gateway that defines who is allowed to serve as a healer in the modern world. Our role is to help individuals and institutions meet this moment with clarity, strategy, and integrity without losing what matters most.

Experience & Perspective

Our licensure consulting is led by, Dr. Jonalyn Blaha, a PsyD-trained educator with over six years of experience in higher education leadership including serving as a recognized institutional expert on professional licensure across LMFT, LPCC, and Psychologist pathways.

As Program Director and now Associate Director of Clinical Training at a graduate psychology program, she has advised hundreds of pre-licensed clinicians, guided curriculum redesigns, and supported faculty and administrators through audits, accreditation reviews, and state and federal compliance updates. This work has extended to consulting with other institutions navigating program restructuring, supervision policy, and regulatory shifts.

What sets this approach apart is its combination of technical fluency and values-based design. Every consultation is grounded in clarity, care, and ethical alignment with attention to both state and federal standards and the lived experience of the people those systems are meant to serve.
